5 Home Remedies for Acidity in the Stomach

Acidity Remedy

There are three conditions that contribute to acid reflux - poor clearance of food or acid from the esophagus, excess acid in the stomach, and delayed stomach emptying.

The food you eat enters your stomach through the esophagus. Your stomach has gastric glands that create acid, which is necessary for the digestion of food. When the gastric glands create excess acid, you can feel a burning sensation below the chest. This condition is commonly called acidity.

Acidity is a condition characterized by heartburn around the lower chest area. This is a common condition that occurs when the acid in the stomach flows back up into the food pipe. The most common symptom of acid reflux is a burning sensation in the chest or pain.
